To whom does the policy apply? Do I have to take 13 credits?

The 13-credit minimum policy applies to the following students.
  • All undergraduate degree-seeking students at the U of M Twin Cities campus
The 13-credit minimum policy does NOT apply to the following students.
  • Students who have received an approved exemption
  • Students on the Regents scholarship
If you have any questions about whether you will need to complete a Request for Reduced Credit Load form, contact your student community.
