What if I need 1-2 more credits or need to drop a class?

There are options for changing credit totals in certain circumstances. These include:
  • adding a 1-2 credit class to meet the 13-credit policy. Students should go to their student community to obtain a copy of the list of open 1-2 credit classes or ask their adviser for more information
  • petitioning for reduced credit load exemption
If the credit total goes below 13 due to dropping a class:
  • the student will be notified by the student community and encouraged to add a class
  • the student will be billed for 13 credits
  • the student's place in the registration queue will be affected
  • the student's financial aid may be impacted
