Steps to a Liberal Arts Degree

Welcome to the College of Liberal Arts (CLA)!  A degree from CLA will open your mind as it opens doors to many careers.  Whether you are a new freshman, a first-year student with oodles of credits, a transfer student, or an upper-classman, this site will guide you through the process of earning a bachelor’s degree from CLA, and of becoming a liberally-educated person.

It is important to not just understand what you need to do to attain a degree from CLA and what resources you can utilize to this end, but also WHY you are getting a degree. An examination of WHY may lead you to more meaningful WHATs and HOWs.

As you work through this site, you will be given tools that will allow you to answer the following questions:

What do I need to do to get my degree?

How do I reflect on my experiences so that I can articulate what I have learned? What does my
            education mean
